I actually bought this quiet, light weight, compact pump on a hunch before the inflatable kayak I planned to use it on even arrived.
I was hoping that this small, rechargeable pump would take some of the work load off me where inflating the Kayak was concerned.
I couldn't have been more correct.
I wanted to save my muscles for paddling rather than waste energy pumping air chambers by hand and this little powerhouse is the answer to my prayers.
Now understand...this compact pump will not fully inflate my Kayak to its required operating pressures. It does however, come close and with just a few additional strokes of the single stage pump the Kayak came with I can get the perfect required pressures of 2.18psi (sidewalls) and 8psi (drop stitched floor) on its pressure gauge that are recommended by the Kayak manufacturer.
Coupling two of the adapters allows for easy inflation or deflation simply by turning the pump in the opposite direction, reattaching the adapters and turning that mother on! You can also rig the adapters to use the pump hose and its specialized locking adapter to make short work of your inflation needs.
Although the pump adaptors aren't strictly compatible with the inflation valves they can easily be made to work.
Drop this pump and its adaptors into your dry bag and you have an extra measure of safety in the event of a small leak.
This baby is a real time saver both coming and going and a super value for the price.

UPDATE: They ended up refunding us for this pump, and we purchased a new one and this one seems to have a better design on the clip attachment part where the gap it clips into doesn’t go all the way through, so hopefully that provides more support and it won’t break so easily (see updated photo). We’ll see if it holds up better now with the redesign and will update the review if it ends up breaking too. If this one holds up, I would give it five stars, but I’m not sure if it would be strong enough to do a SUP or anything that needs high PSI, but it works great for our float (pictured).

We really really loved this product at first, but only after a couple of uses, there are these little clips on the main nozzle that hold it in place while pumping that both broke off very easily (near my finger nail in the picture). It’s still somewhat usable without them, but it makes it very cumbersome trying to hold the nozzle in place as well as the valve of the thing your trying to blow up, especially when you go to close up the inflated-item without loosing too much air. It also doesn’t seem to seal as well now while actually pumping up the air without those clips. It seems like a design flaw, but if the company were to fix that issue, then this would be a really really awesome product! Second pic is of the raft that we blow up with it. One battery charge can blow up the whole thing and deflate it. Just wish that one piece were sturdier.
