First, as with everything from Le Creuset, it’s just beautiful.
With that out of the way: I’ve used this for meatloaf and it’s my favorite pan of any pan I’ve ever used for meatloaf. The interior feels more like you’d be accustomed to from Staub: a rough, black matte lining. For meatloaf, that’s perfect. It cooks well and cleans better than smooth, light colored enamel. Heck, cleans better than my mom’s old Pyrex glass loaf pan she used for meatloaf.
To the extent this is getting stained by oil baking on to the surface, you can’t tell because the interior is black.
It still looks good as new after several uses and I expect it to last a long time looking basically brand new.

Bakes perfect loaf cakes!
I had never baked a cake since childhood so, as a cooking novice septuagenarian, I am pleasantly surprised that my two first experiences baking in this new Le Creuset enameled cast iron loaf pan turned out so nicely. I baked this banana blueberry loaf cake in my Ninja toaster air fryer double oven. The Le Creuset enameled cast iron loaf pan fits perfectly inside the lower compartment of the countertop oven and avoids the large energy output of the main oven in my kitchen. The enameled cast iron is also easy to clean with warm water and a squirt of Dawn dish detergent. 🍌😋🫐
