This syringe is perfect for medicine or colostrum! It comes with a brush for cleaning, and has a flat bottom so you can stand it up while you get baby ready for feeding. The suction at the bottom doesn't work all that well, so I wouldn't tip it over. Other than that this is perfect for when baby will inevitably need medicine or measuring how much colostrum to give to the baby!
