Makes holding heavy duty plastic down easy on ground
I used these to hold heavy duty plastic down for my landscaping projects and to keep weeds away! They are easy to hammer in using a rubber hammer as long as you don't hit tree roots or a rock then they will bend however very easy to straightened back out. Pictures of my latest projects using these heavy duty U shaped steel stake spiked pins with plastic and then covering with black mulch. I definitely recommend these if you need to securely hold your plastic down. (PS..not done laying my mulch down due to the stormy weekend weather)

    I recently put the HOOPLE 200Pack 6 Inch 11 Gauge Galvanized Landscape Staples to the test, and they performed exceptionally well. These staples were perfect for securing my weed barrier fabric in place. The 11-gauge thickness gave them a solid, sturdy feel, which was reassuring during installation.

    Very sturdy and strong, points are VERY sharp (use caution when digging to get them out of the box). Metal is a little slick, so may have a hard time staying in if you have very loose or fluffy soil. We used them to stake down a drip system in a raised bed. They worked, but had to use more of them than expected because the new soil was quite loose. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Will probably buy again.

    Very solid product. Stood up to the thick carpet- like fabric used in my garden. I was even able to get through two layers of it! It doesn't bend like other versions have. It is the perfect length and won't come popping up out of the ground. It's easy to install, I just take a small hammer to knock it into place.

    I’ve been buying weed block stakes from my local garden center, but I decided to give these Hoople Weed Block Stakes a try—and I’m glad I did! They’re much cheaper, come in bulk, and the quality is just as good. I use them regularly for my weed block and landscaping projects, and they hold down the fabric securely, even in windy conditions.

    It’s a great feeling not having to run to the store or pay more for fewer stakes. If you do a lot of yard work or garden maintenance, these are a smart buy!

    These landscaping spikes/staples are a pleasure to use.

    I’ve been thinking about getting some of these for about a year. I ran across these and decided to investigate. Most that I’ve seen are flimsy and light weight. As I invested more, I did learn that these are approximately 12 gauge metal, as compared to a lot of others that are about half the thickness. It turned out that these are actually strong enough to hammer in with a steel hammer. That was one of my main concerns, being that I live in a very rocky and hard soil area.

    I chose the six inch length, because of my soil type. At the same time I was concerned about them pulling out. That, however, has not happened. The tips are quite sharp, which helps a lot.

    I bought a package of 200 spikes, mainly because they just cost a little more than the 100 pack. I am really glad that I got the extras, because now I see the potential uses for them. I originally got them to stake down the bottom of bird netting that covers a fence made of cattle panels. They have been holding just fine, and no more chickens and rabbits get through. I’ve even caught a couple of snakes. Since that was so successful, I’ve used them to hold extension cords, that are on the ground, and a ground wire for an electric fence, that requires multiple ground rods. So far, they are holding strong.

    I am very happy with my purchase, and will definitely order the same set, when I run out.

    These stakes are said to be 'heavy duty', but they are only 6inch so they are not that tough! However, in saying that my comment is not meant to be negative. They are able to stake plastic sheeting around vulnerable plants easily. I wouldn't use them for pinning down fence wire as our soil is rocky and would need at least a 12inch to remain in the ground. These are great for the little jobs I need in the vege garden and small tie downs and would recommend them for sure.
    Packaging and delivery time from USA to Australia was excellent - recommend this company as reliable.
