Portable monitor is a must purchase item for anyone who works remotely or changes locations frequently. For a digital nomad like myself it has come in handy when traveling through airport lounges and random desks or tables out and about or around the house when I don’t want to move my permanent monitor. The screen is bright, the installation is easy although you do have to figure out which cord/plug works best for you. You can definitely charge your laptop via the monitor while it’s plugged in to my charging USB-C port. I was worried about the balance but the setup is stable. Would recommend for yourself or as a gift for other digital nomads.

    I got this screen at the end of November, 2023 and today, April 16 of 2026 it died. I would say it is quite a respectable age for screen of such price.

    As mentioned, the quality of visuals definitely was far from perfect, however it worked quite well to keep less used applications or when I needed to check data in one app and write in another at the same time.
    I REALLY loved the bag with pocket for cables, which were included. The ease of connection (for laptop only one usb-c was enough), easy transportation.
    I did not like the stand at the back - it is quite short and if you use the screen on bigger laptop, you need to lower screen back quite a lot in order to be able to use it, which basically cuts off the purpose of portable screen that should be easy to use without additional limitations.
    Good screen to try out with laptops, if you are new to them.

    I use this all the time. I have two screens in my home office but have to travel work regularly. It was very difficult to adjust to only using my single small laptop screen when working away from home. This portable screen works great! It came with a variety of cords to connect to your laptop so no worries about connectivity. It is lightweight and folds up into itself like a built-in case. I carry this in my laptop bag with my laptop and I don't even notice the weight difference. It also comes with a carrying case but it fits better in my laptop bag without it. It is just as good of a screen as the Asus screens I use at home. The brightness is adjustable, the picture quality is great. My laptop is not great at holding a charge, so I can only use my laptop with the screen for a few hours, less if I am doing virtual meetings. Usually I plug my computer in when using the screen, or use a portable charger.
