This is a fun toy! The orb takes flight really fast if you tilt it too much. The more upright the slower. We just lift our hand and release to take flight.

Alot of fun when you get the throwing angles right. Even though it was bought for a 6 year old, it's alot of fun for anyone (adult here,lol)
The boomerang effect is easy and so is the straight hover toss, but for whatever reason the hover in the palm of your hand just won't work. It fly's off and away from your hand and then straight down. It does seem pretty durable after a few slams off the floor and walls (of which there will be a few when starting out and trying a few maneuvers).
I was sent the wrong charging cable (usb-c instead of micro-usb) for this product though so be aware of that.
