These nail art pen markers are made suitable for beginners. Easy and not complicated to use, perfect set for beginners or for practicing ideally for home use. Suitable for younger age to adult. Update:

I tried using these nail markers a second time. The paint is having a tendency to clog at the tip. I dripped nail dehydrator (you could use alcohol) down the barrel and it loosened the paint so that I could use the markers but still I kept having to dip my marker into the drip puddle of excess ink that came out when I first got the paint flowing. So, I couldn’t make a long line like a swirl on my nail without having to dip and draw about 4 times.

    Previous Review:

I love these nail art pens! They are just so fun to use! I am finally able to get the small details on my nails that I want with these pens. You can make the lines as skinny as a skinny gel pen with these markers!🥰

Here’s what you need to know because technique can make a difference between these working well or not.

    1. You must shake and/or roll the markers a minute before using each one.

If you don’t, like I accidentally forgot to do with the green when I wanted to do a touch up half an hour after I first used it, the part of my nail that I marked it on became a darker green color.

    2. When pushing down a marker on a paper towel or paper the first time you use it, you must look at the barrel near the tip to see when it fills up. This is usually after one long-ish push.

If you don’t catch it on time, a lot of paint will come out all at once and you can’t get that paint back in once it comes out.

    3. Often, the paint comes out the side near the tip (instead of out of the very tip). When this happens, I just took my finger and wiped the extra paint on the tip and it worked perfectly to make nice, thin lines.

    4. If you’re a person that doesn’t mess up very often, then putting on a matte top coat and then writing these nail markers over it leads to an incredibly nice, solid, thick layer of paint.

However, if you’re like me and mess up a lot, then putting on a shiny top coat and curing/drying first, works best. Then, if you don’t like the line that you made, it’s easy to wipe off all the paint if wiped off immediately. Rubbing alcohol works great for removal.

    5. I highly suggest using rubbing alcohol to remove marker/pen from your skin after you finish your nails. The reason why is that if any of the rubbing alcohol touches the nail designs that you have done, the paint will come off.

    6. If you use the nail pens right at the very tips of your nails, the paint tends to separate from the top coat after a couple of days.

Whereas, if you Don’t make nail designs at the very tips of your nails, the nail art pens last me a month easy When I use an excellent gel polish (the kind that needs a UV/LED Lamp to cure). For anyone out there who hasn’t tried gel polish before, it is a little dream come true for me. I do work that is Very hard on my nails. Regular nail polish has always lasted me a maximum of 1 day! Yet, as you can see on the video and the 2 photos, my pinky and my thumb were a partial redo. The gel stays for a month so my fingernail grows out. I put purple nail art pen in the cuticle area of both of those nails.

    6. Clean the tips of these nail markers with rubbing alcohol when you are done with them and store them sitting up. If stored sideways, the paint, since it is thin paint that must be used, it possibly could run out if kept sideways.

    7. In order to make these markers stay for weeks or even 2 months as I did (I just put polish on the new part of the nail as it grew out), you must put a top coat over your designs. This is how it is with all nail markers of every kind I have tried.

There are several sellers here on Amazon selling these same Nail Art Pens. Look to find the best price but also the best, most recent reviews. The reason why is that paint gets old after a while. So, if the paint is stored in too hot or too cold of an environment, it can make the paint unusable.

Wishing you joy and success in your nail art!🎉

    Previous Review:

The thing is that with these markers, I’m able to do the kind of detail work that I love.❤️

I’m pretty new to nail art markers. This is the first time ever that I did the design that you see on my nails. I used the black first to make all of the lines.

Then, I filled in the areas on 3 nails with the silver nail marker because I realized that I wanted stronger differences in colors (the purple on the 2 nails is a purple gel). The silver marker’s paint is so bright, shiny, and Beautiful!

Why get the ones with the tiniest tips like these ones?

Especially when I do patterns on my non dominant hand, I mess up a lot. I’m shaky so I make shaky lines. So, after I make the shaky lines, I can go over the lines easily and make them a bit larger so that they don’t look shaky anymore.😅

Also, for those of you that use gels, these markers go perfectly over gels as you can see on my fingers!🎉

For those of you using regular polish, I HIGHLY recommend trying gel polish that you cure/dry under a UV Lamp. You won’t regret. My nails last me a month using gel (using protocol such as base coat and top coat) and that is a relief for someone like me that, my whole life no matter what I did, regular polish would only last me 1-2 days. I garden a lot, and my work requires work with my hands.

For those of you new to nail are markers, here are some pointers.

    1. Put a top coat on your nails and cure/dry it first. This makes it so that when you don’t like your design on the first try, you can wipe it off easily with rubbing alcohol and try the design again.

*It’s sometimes a good idea to wipe excess marker off you skin After you put a top coat on your nails and cure it because that way when you use the rubbing alcohol, it doesn’t take off the design you put on your nail if you accidentally rub the alcohol on your nail design.

    2. I found out that for the paint to flow, do 2 short presses of the tip onto the paper. Then, just a little bit of paint flows out.

    3. After using the markers, wipe off the tips and store them right side up.

    4. You Must use a top coat over your design to make the design stay. This is the way it is with all nail markers for permanence.

    I love these markers because:

    * nail designs dry within a couple minutes easy.

*You can overlap colors and the colors stay bright and solid looking. You can see that in the silver that I overlapped over the black some here and there.

    * I can see that we have several choices of sellers on Amazon. So, IMHO find the one that has this exact packaging to get the lowest price. I will be doing that when these markers run out definitely.

These are a Super Fun part of Nail Art!

This is a great set of nail art pens. I like that there are 12 different colors to enable you to add some pizzazz to your designs. The ink flows freely from the pens and they can make some thin lines allowing you to get very creative in a small space. The drying time is very fast. You can do more than nails with these pens. I actually used them to do some designs on easter eggs this past Easter. The pens are very durable and seem like they will last. Which is good, because I don't do my nails all that often. These are great for beginners or someone who is experienced with nails.

These nail design pens week great. The paint flows nicely and they can do some very thin lines. There are 12 different colors so you have lots of options to choose from. The only problem I have with them is that I am not ambidextrous and have no problem doing my left hand nails, but when I try to do the right hand the results are less than perfect. These would be great if you were doing someone else’s nails.

The paint dries quickly and lasts a long time if you use a topcoat over it. These make it fun to ad little splashes of color to dress up otherwise boring nails

I picked up this nail art pen set with one goal in mind—carving out some “mom & daughter” time with our two girls. Painting each other’s nails has always been one of our cozy little traditions, the kind of simple fun that turns into giggles, stories, and memories. I loved the idea of using these pens to write names, doodle tiny hearts, and create our own little masterpieces together.

When the package arrived, the bright holographic box practically shimmered at us. The girls tore into it with the kind of excitement only sparkly things can bring. Inside were 12 fine‑tip paint markers, each one promising a new color to play with.

Priming them takes a bit of technique—shake well, point downward, and pump the tip on a hard surface until the paint saturates the nib. On my first try, I definitely fumbled. The tip jammed inward, and paint started pouring out of the bottom like a tiny, colorful disaster. I scrambled to fix it, pulled the tip back out, capped it, and set it aside. Thankfully, the paint washed off my hands easily while still wet, so no harm done.

Even with that mishap, I’m still excited to prep the rest of the colors this weekend, especially with a snowstorm on the way. It feels like the perfect excuse to stay in, get cozy, and turn our kitchen table into a mini nail salon. One thing to note—the paint doesn’t have that strong nail‑polish smell (a huge plus), but it will stain clothing, so old T‑shirts are a must.

All in all, this set has the potential to make our snow day extra special, and I can already picture the girls proudly showing off their custom designs.

These nail pens work really well for nail art, or adding color to your nails. They also work well for resin projects. I have used them on a few pendants, and they dry completely, and are vibrant. Once you top coat them, or add a final resin coat, they are locked in, and don't smear or wipe off. They dry fast, within a few seconds. They are a great price, as you get a lot of ink in each marker. They are easy to use and durable. I ordered these to use for resin projects, and they are perfect for that, but I also tried them on my nails and love them for that purpose as well. I recommend giving them a try!
