Glasp 3.13.2 • Can't load a YouTube transcript? Tap "Notify me when it's ready": Glasp keeps trying in the background and notifies you when it has it. • Chat on a YouTube video now reads the video's transcript, so it also answers about videos no one has summarized yet. • Copy Video Transcript in the share sheet now works for videos Glasp hasn't seen before. • Editing your username shows your profile link and says when it will change. After saving, your profile shows the new name right away. • A failed summary now has a Retry button, and a video without captions says so right away. • A link opened while signed out (from glasp.co, for example) now opens after you sign in, instead of Home. • Transcripts of auto-dubbed YouTube videos now almost always come in the language the video is spoken in (many came back in Arabic or in English). • In the UK and the EU, sharing a YouTube live stream to Glasp now offers the video buttons (only the basic ones appeared, titled "Before you continue to YouTube"), and Shorts are no longer saved under that title. Video titles also appear faster. • In the reader, Back now closes Summary, Transcript or Chat first and returns you to the page, instead of leaving the reader. • Tapping Home while you are on Home scrolls back to the top.

Glasp 3.12.0 • The rating request now appears right after a moment that went well — saving a highlight, or finishing a summary. It is still the standard iOS rating sheet, never on launch and never after an error, and iOS itself limits how often it can appear. • Internal: its timing can now be adjusted without shipping a new version of the app.

Glasp 3.11.1 • Fixed: a highlight you make in a PDF no longer covers the words it highlights. It painted over the text as a solid block until you left the PDF or rotated the screen. • Fixed: changing a highlight's colour straight after creating it now shows the new colour in PDFs.

Glasp 3.11.0 • Chat about the page you are reading, right in Safari. Open the Glasp button, go to Chat, and ask anything — answers stream in based on the page, and the conversation continues on your other devices. • New Community tab: see the passages other readers highlighted on this page, and browse them one reader at a time. Tap a passage to jump to it. • The Glasp button now appears before you sign in, and you can drag it out of the way when a site puts its own buttons in the same corner. It snaps to the nearer edge and stays where you left it. • Highlights: add and remove tags, write a page note, switch a page between public and private, copy everything at once, and use the new per-highlight menu to change colour, add a note, copy, share or delete. • Summary: pages behind a sign-in or a cookie wall can now be summarised, and a summary can be downloaded or shared. • Fixed: on tabs opened before the extension was turned on, the toolbar popup showed "Sign in" to signed-in users and its buttons did nothing.

Glasp 3.10.0 • Home is now one place, with five tabs across the top — Feed, Following, Channels, Topics and Picks. The separate Feed tab has left the bottom bar; everything it led to moved up one level. • Rearrange the tabs however you like, and Home opens on whichever one you put first. Long-press a tab, or use the control at the end of the row. • New: Topics. Pick the subjects you care about and see what other Glasp readers highlighted under them. • The Following tab now suggests readers you can follow in one tap — and your feed updates the moment you follow someone. • One row design across every tab, so a list stops changing shape as you move between them. Channel videos keep a full-width thumbnail. • AI Clone moves into the bottom bar, in the slot the Feed tab left behind.

Glasp 3.9.1 • Chat about any page you're reading — ask questions, get answers grounded in the page, and pick Fast, Balanced or Deep depending on how much thinking you want. It's the same conversation you'd see on the web or in the browser extension. • Help & Support now lives in More: a link to the FAQ, and a Contact Us that opens your mail app with your version and device already filled in. • Tap the timestamp on a YouTube highlight to jump straight to that moment in the video. • Highlighting works again on public government pages — reports, statistics and legislation. Signed-in portals like tax and immigration stay off, as they should. • Opening a Glasp link from the web now lands where it should instead of a "not found" screen. • Summaries and answers render code, quotes, lists and tables properly.

Glasp 3.8.3 • Triple-clicking the last paragraph of a ChatGPT answer now creates a highlight instead of doing nothing. • Highlights saved from Claude answers no longer pick up stray toolbar icons at the end of the text. • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

Glasp 3.8.2 • Privacy: the Safari extension and the in-app Reader now stay off sensitive sites — banking, sign-in, health, and similar — matching the desktop browser extension. • These privacy protections can now update automatically, without waiting for an app update. • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

Glasp 3.8.0 • You can now rate Glasp right in the app — a quick, native review prompt may appear after you've saved highlights or finished a summary. Once in a while at most, never in the middle of what you're doing. • Fixes and polish under the hood.

Glasp 3.7.0 • Highlighting now feels alive — a gentle haptic tick as you extend a selection and a satisfying tap when your highlight lands (English and Japanese alike). • New ink-wash animation — highlights soak softly into the page as they're created, in articles, PDFs, and YouTube transcripts. • Prefer it quiet? Toggle haptics under More → Haptic Feedback. • Lock Screen widget — add Glasp Feed to your Lock Screen to see the latest video from channels you follow. • Glasp now lets you know when a new version is available, so you never miss improvements. • Fixes and polish.

Glasp 3.2.1 — small follow-ups to the PDFs update. • Remove an uploaded PDF from your library — open it, then "Remove Document" in the ⋯ menu • The highlight menu now opens below your selection so it no longer overlaps the system Copy / Look Up menu • Fixed highlights not showing on pages that redirect (e.g. YouTube) • Minor fixes

Glasp 3.1 makes summarizing and reading better. • Reader View — strip the clutter and read any article distraction-free • Smarter AI summaries — YouTube videos with transcript and tap-to-seek timestamps, plus full web-page summaries • New Feed tab — catch up on the latest videos from the YouTube channels you follow • A redesigned reader toolbar that's easier to reach with one hand • Stability and performance improvements

Glasp 3.0 is a major update with a rebuilt app. • Highlight and take notes on any web page in the in-app Reader • See what the community highlighted on the same page • Summarize YouTube videos and articles • Home screen widgets and a share extension to save from anywhere • Sign in with Google or Apple
