A full-sidebar theme based on the ideas of borders. Suitable for all kinds of blogs.

 Features:

  • Tumblr-dashboard inspired post style.
  • One accent, 6 color options.
  • Customizable post width and font size. The live preview uses 600px posts and 13px font size.
  • Five custom links with customizable icons.
  • A search box with customizable entries and link.
  • A sidebar image with the width being 80% of 25% of your screen size. For example, if your screen width is 1920px, then the width of your sidebar image should be = (1920 x 0.25) x 0.8 = 305px. The height of the sidebar image should be 250px.
  • Customizable photoset gutter. The live preview uses 5px photoset gutter size.
  • Built-in lightbox for photoset posts.
  • Mostly NPF friendly.

  • Custom post size and grid width from 500px to 700px
  • Optional infinite scroll with optional manual load option

  • Optional highlighted posts in the sidebar (3 posts, enter your choice of tag into the “large posts tag” text box to turn on highlighted posts)
  • Posts tagged with the “large posts tag” tag will be twice the size of others
  • Optional updates area in sidebar: text area and 3 stats lines with icons
  • Optional social media links in sidebar
  • Day/night mode:
    • Choose the default mode, either day (light) or night (dark), or you can have the theme choose automatically based on the time of day
    • Toggle switch in the header is optional

Notes:

  • To insert links, simply create a page and check “show a link to this page”.
  • Please turn off the default mobile theme in Advanced Options if you want to use the mobile version!

Second updated theme! This isn’t my most favorite code I ever released, but reworking this has made me appreciate this theme a lot more and I like how it turned out. I kept the same simple look, but gave the code the much needed update it needed. And of course, now with a light/dark toggle for accessibility.
