Crossroads is a new zine exploring folk horror in the United States. Between 1969 and 1981 the USA experienced “the long decade” — a time of transition from the peace and love of the 1960s to a turbulent era of disillusionment and oppression. Dark images of war, violence, racial tension, and nuclear fallout define this era and set the stage for some of the key works of American folk horror.
