Welcome to Camping Rosengarten, a small and family-run campsite near Hévíz in Hungary.

Since 1991, we have been welcoming guests from all over Europe to our peaceful campsite in Cserszegtomaj, just around 2 km from Hévíz, 6 km from Keszthely, and close to Lake Balaton.

If you are looking for a quiet campsite near Hévíz for your motorhome, caravan or tent, Camping Rosengarten is an ideal place to stay while exploring this beautiful part of western Hungary.

Campsite for motorhomes, caravans and tents

Camping Rosengarten offers comfortable, terraced pitches in a peaceful and green environment. Depending on your preference, you can choose from sunny and partly shaded pitches.

We can accommodate motorhomes and camping vehicles up to 9 metres long, making our campsite suitable for both compact campers and larger motorhomes.

All pitches have access to electricity, while water points are located close to the pitches.

One of the main advantages of Camping Rosengarten is its close location to Hévíz and the world-famous Hévíz Thermal Lake.

Hévíz is one of Hungary's best-known spa destinations and is famous for its natural thermal lake and warm, mineral-rich water.

From our campsite, you can reach Hévíz Thermal Lake within a few minutes, making it easy to combine a relaxing camping holiday with a visit to the thermal spa.

The surrounding area is also ideal for cycling, walking, sightseeing and day trips.

Camping near Hévíz, Keszthely and Lake Balaton

Camping Rosengarten is ideally located for exploring Hévíz, Keszthely and Lake Balaton.

The historic town of Keszthely is only a few kilometres away. Here you can visit the famous Festetics Palace, explore the town centre and enjoy the atmosphere of Lake Balaton.

Lake Balaton, also known as the Hungarian Sea, is easily accessible from the campsite. The lake and its surroundings offer excellent opportunities for swimming, cycling, walking, sightseeing and family activities.

Our location makes Camping Rosengarten a convenient base for discovering the attractions of western Hungary.

Travelling without a motorhome or caravan? In addition to our camping pitches, we also offer comfortable apartments near Hévíz.

Our two buildings contain three apartments in total:

Two apartments of approximately 45 m², each with two bedrooms
One studio apartment of approximately 28 m²

All apartments have a well-equipped kitchen suitable for self-catering. Kitchen facilities include:

Each apartment also has its own bathroom and satellite TV.

Additional adult: 2,000 HUF per night

Opening season

Camping Rosengarten is open from 1 April to 15 October.

Outside the regular season, stays may also be possible by prior arrangement.
