Take disability hate crime seriously and make it easier to report verbal abuse.

Take disability hate crime seriously and make it easier to report verbal abuse.
The Issue
I would like the Police and CPS to make it easier for disabled people to report disability hate crimes and for them to be taken seriously.
A massive issue is about people being verbally and sometimes physically abused by people when parking in disabled blue badge parking because they "Don't look disabled" Ignorance of disability is a massive factor! But i guarentee that if a system to report these issues was created the number of people reporting these issues that go ignored would increase ten fold.
When reporting disability hate crimes i.e verbal abuse, online abuse the police are quick to close them down as they don't meet CPS guidelines. But the wording for disability hate crimes on CPS are ambiguous. Please can you define, *indecent*, *grossly offensive* and *threatening nature* these terms can be different to different people.
What is grossly offensive/indecent to a disabled person would be totally different to a fully abled person. Being approached while getting out of your vehicle and being verbally abused, assaulted or demanding to see your blue badge picture or trying to get the badge out of your car, by someone is threatening behaviour, degrading and inhumane treatment and for many disabled people this causes so much stress and anxiety they cannot continue with their day return home and avoid going out for fear of being abused again. This can impact the mental and physical health yet the police wont do anything to stop this! So i happends time and time again.
Disabled people trying to use social media are continually degraded, humiliated, abused by others online and despite reporting issues with the social media host when it is obvious hate crime orientated and reporting using your process nothing is done. As you cannot spend the time looking into the issues. Even when handed the persons name and location, screenshots, videos and pictures of the hate crime there is "not enough evidence" and it is dropped. You encourage disabled people to report hate crime incidents and pushed this issue after being found that discrimination was ignored by the police, yet when people do report it nothing is done about it.
You need to understand that disabled people are more vulnerable to abuse. Many disabled people that have social media account dont use them like they want to because of the abuse they get for being who they are. It causes deep offence effects thier mental health which in turn effects their physical health. They are not the same as healthy people, but they deserve to be able to socialise on social media as for many that is the only way they can! By ignoring this issue and ignoring reports made for hate crimes against disabled people you are giving these abusers the ok to continue to bully and harass disabled people and that is far from OK!
Disabled people deserve to be taken seriously when they report hate crimes and abuse.
