bridal registry

Hello all I'm new! I am about to embark on my very first domestic adventure here soon. I'm getting married and going to be registering a couple places. My question is what is one thing that I should register for that isn't commonly thought of? I know the basics like dishes silverware etc. I'm looking for household items that are very handy or cute that I can't do without or make life easier. What was something you got for your house that you are very glad you have?
