Comment: Probably meets WP:NPLACE but some statements need to be cited before this can be approved. I'd also suggest an edit to make the article feel a bit more encyclopedic, such as removing wording like "one curious mention of Sochani..." Turnagra (talk) 10:06, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

'Sochani is a village in Dadyal Tehsil of Mirpur District, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir identifies Sochani as a locality within Dadyal Tehsil, Mirpur District.^[2]

Demography

According to the 1998 village list for Mirpur District, Sochani had a population of 536.^[1]

Notable people

Shak Khan (Raja Sony Palwan), a professional wrestler, is from the village of Sochani near Dadyal. Khan has described leaving Sochani for the United Kingdom when he was five years old.^[3]^[4]
