Frankenhain (German pronunciation: [ˈfʁaŋkn̩haɪn]) is a village and a former municipality in the district Ilm-Kreis, in Thuringia, Germany. Since 1 January 2019, it is part of the municipality Geratal. It is well known for its biathlon club.
