Saber Interactive on yhdysvaltalainen videopelejä kehittävä yritys. Sen perustivat vuonna 2001 Andrey Iones, Matthew Karch ja Anton Krupkin. Yritys on kehittänyt Saber3D-pelimoottorin.[1] Sabre Interactivella on studioita myös Pietarissa, Madridissa, Valko-Venäjällä, Ruotsissa ja Portugalissa.[2]
Historia
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Helmikuussa 2020 Embracer Group osti Saber Interactiven 525 miljoonan dollarin kaupalla.[3] Vuonna 2020 yhtiö hankki 4A Gamesin.[4] Helmikuussa 2021 Aspyr Media siirtyi yrityksen omistukseen.[5]
Maaliskuussa 2024 Embracer ilmoitti Saber Interactiven myynnistä 247 miljoonan dollarin hinnalla Beacon Interactivelle, joka on Saberin perustaneen Matthew Karchin uusi yhtiö.[6]

Saber Interactive on videopelien ohella kehittänyt myös yli 50 kasinopeliä.[7]
Yhtiö on tehnyt myös käännöksiä eri kehittäjien peleistä muille alustoille. Muun muassa Kingdom Come: Deliverancen Nintendo Switch -käännös on Saber Interactiven tekemä.[8]
