Questions, answered.
A free, open-source, voice-activated AI assistant for Windows. Hold a hotkey, speak, release — text appears at your cursor. F8 dictates, F9 asks AI, F10 transforms selected text.
Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, a microphone, and WebView2. Cloud keys are optional: use on-device Whisper for speech transcription and Ollama for local AI tasks without a cloud provider key.
They are stored in Windows Credential Manager under the Flunkey service — never in config files. Local Whisper and Ollama do not need cloud API keys.
Install it directly from Microsoft Store using the Get it from Microsoft Store button. The Store handles installation and updates; there is no website installer to unpack.
It's Windows-first, free, MIT open-source, and private by design: cloud keys are stored locally in Credential Manager, history stays in local app data, and local Whisper/Ollama options are available.
Yes — MIT-licensed, built with Tauri v2 + Rust and React 19. You only pay your own provider usage, if your provider bills you.
