Fantastic enemies to lovers, why choose book reverse harem book. Spicy scenes are well written and leave you wanting more, plot is good! Can’t wait to read the rest in the series. Gives Marvel superhero vibes. It has family betrayal, lies and devotion/worshiping of the fmc. I couldn’t put this book down!

I was worried about a reverse harem with brothers since incest doesn't interest me much, but I really enjoyed this book! All of the focus is on Cari who is a super badass assassin character.

The world building was so cool I wish there was more of it. The smut was hot and the brothers were hotter - if a little caricaturized. I think this book could have been perfect if it were twice as long. More chatacterization and world building and tension would have been fun. It was almost like reading a well-done outline or an expanded fanfiction.

But again - excellent spice, cool world, and a bit of a cliffhanger! I'm looking forward to reading the follow up. Especially if there's finally a Talon and Locke teamup! 🤭

Overall,

This book had been on my TBR for a while and I finally got around to reading it. The plot seemed interesting and I hadn’t read a reverse harem in a while. With all that said this book was ok. It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great it was just ok. I found myself skimming parts by the end just to get it over with. The book starts with a wedding of the Shattered Isle Princess to the 3 princes of the all realms. She has always been told that they were evil and monsters and the villains of her story. Come to find out a lot of what she thought she know is completely wrong. The story felt heavily influenced by Avatar the Last Air Bender with its elemental realms and the majority of the story is them traveling through these realms to get to the all plains. At times I felt like I skipped an entire chapter because things would happen and I was like wait when did I miss this decision etc. I would go back to the last chapter and nope the story just glossed over it.

I am honestly not sure what the cover has to do with the book. Sure, there are some swords and sword fighting but there are no roses or rose petals that I remember. It just feels like it is trying to look as similar to other more famous titles to hopefully get picked up for that reason alone.

Recommendation

This is the first book in a series (maybe a duology?) that I will not be finishing personally. I would recommend this book to people who don’t mind reverse harems and had nothing better to read.

This is the best book I have read lately. It dose a great job of describing the worlds without drawing it out too much for this length of book. Even though there was an amazing plot with a lot of twists and turns there were still multiple spicy scenes and heat between the characters. I would give this a 4.8 if possible, the end feels like “action, action, and we are done”. Obviously meant for the second act in the sequel but just too harsh of an end to the plot for me. Overall LOVED this enemies to lovers with arranged marriage and a bit of forced proximity reverse haram.

Her Villains by Jade Presley is one of my favourite reads this year. It reminded me exactly why I love Kindle Unlimited, by helping me discover an author who is nothing short of brilliant at storytelling, with her intentional writing and amazing plot.

Although short and punchy, this book will capture the attention of fantasy readers, Marvel fans and Reverse Harem lovers. Yup, all of them.

Think forced marriage to all your faves from Marvel (yes, Loki too), who are princes of an enemy kingdom, now add a badass and selfless MC who has trained her entire life for this, only her world gets rocked (hahaha, this is punny because sjoe, there is steam 🤭🌶) when she realises history isn't what it seems and neither are these ridiculously hot and powerful princes.

Jade does such a good job of transporting you into a fantasy adventure, with romance, spice and family drama, but she doesn't waste chapters on end confusing you with lengthy descriptions. I loved that the first book in this unfinished series told a story without feeling rushed but still managed to get to the point and seamlessly creating an interesting world that I'm eager to dive back into.

I have been reading quite a few disappointing books lately that this was a surprise on how much I enjoyed this. The heroine was kickass, hot, and definitely not boring. The guys are alpha hot. The storyline flowed with captivating characters, emotional feel, and romance development. The ending was a good introduction to the next book storyline. The RH was well developed and the sexy times were steamy hot. Great start to the series and can't wait for the next book.

Okey I luv space and disopian stories so I grabbed this. OMG this is wow steamly hot as hell. So if you like that you will very much enjoy. I also love enemies to lovers scenes however I felt like very quick connection. Dont get me wrong I hate when heroine is so childishly stubborn but she was OKEY here but I felt love came quicker than Id expect. Im totally a Lock(i) fan I absoltutely saw T.H. in the glass cage.

So yeah beside all those steam there is story maybe not that detailed as Id like but okey. I would have luved to hear more about the guys talent, what happend with Cari and maybe a contact with her BFF left on the island.

Anyways not bad plot. Now I cannot say Ill read book 2 but I liked the overall worldbuilt so I may continue…

I happened upon this book because @tiffandbooks made a tiktok that had me in desperate need. When an author starts a book with a note that its for Marvel fans who need spice? COUNT ME IN.

I don’t usually just right into a book I happen upon but I needed this kind of read, and I was not disappointed.

The first couple of pages had me worried about what I was getting myself into but I have now chalked it up to two or three slight typos that were simply missed. Do not let these snags keep you from devouring this delicious story.

The four husbands are very clearly based on our Marvel men and I loved every single moment of it. Jade was able to write their characters beautifully. Can I be Cari? She is also such a strong powerful woman, and don’t we just love that in a character? She is able to go toe to toe with these men and it was brilliant.

I couldn’t get enough, I read it so fast. Highly recommend.

Oof this book was a quick read for me but gosh was it good. The Princes each have their own unique qualities that make up the perfect partners for our beautiful, deadly and powerful FMC. Each character brings their own banter, falls at a different pace and has their own chemistry. The story is fast paced but captivating. I am very excited to read book 2!

A good story line, and a deep background, not just carnal and carnage. With a good twist of events. A good book for any collection

This book just wasn’t my vibe. It felt almost like an Avengers fanfic — with characters clearly inspired by Thor, Loki, Tony Stark, and Captain America. And while I actually love those characters in the marvel universe, the story itself didn’t really captivate me or the characters.

It’s a “why choose” romance with a lot of spice and a fast-paced plot — definitely something you can finish in a day or two. Even though it didn’t work for me personally, if you’re a big Marvel fan and enjoy steamy, action-filled reads, this might totally be your thing!

It was a very easy read. The world was good and interesting. Really enjoyed the characters. Very much enjoyed. Would recommend.
