These templates are compatible with Firefox ESR 128, but they may include policies that are not available in that version. If you need to manage Firefox ESR 128, use v6.11

The policy documentation has officially moved to a dedicated site for Firefox administrators: https://firefox-admin-docs.mozilla.org/

The policy templates will continue to be maintained in this repository.

Mozilla has introduced Firefox Support for Organizations, a new support offering for enterprise deployments of Firefox. For more information, see this blog post.

New policies

XSLTEnabled - Enable or disable support for the XSLTProcessor JavaScript API and the XSLT processing instruction.
LocalNetworkAccess - Configure local network access security features. The LocalNetworkAccess policy controls Firefox's behavior when websites attempt to access local network resources (localhost and local network addresses).

Updated policies

ExtensionSettings - Added update_url.
Preferences - Preferences beginning with devtools. and sidebar. can now be set by policy.
