A family very very close to my heart has recently experienced a serious and unexpected family crisis, and I have been given their permission to create this page. They are not the type to ask for help, but they need it badly right now and I feel called to organize this on their behalf.

Due to urgent safety concerns and an ongoing child protection investigation involving one household, an immediate custody change took place this week. They are now the full-time home and providers for three of their children, while continuing to share custody of the other two. Overnight, their family structure, expenses, and daily responsibilities changed dramatically.

They are a faith-filled family who loves all five of their kids deeply, and stepped in without hesitation to make sure the children were safe and supported. But the reality is that they are now operating on the same income while carrying significantly increased costs and navigating court involvement, lawyer fees, emotional support needs, and the logistics of a much larger full-time household.

This fundraiser is to help with the very real, very immediate expenses that have come with this shift, including:

-groceries and household essentials

-clothing, school and daily living needs

-increased housing and utility costs

-therapy and supportive services for all 5 children

-legal and administrative expenses

Out of respect for the children's privacy, no further details will be shared. What matters most is that when circumstances changed, these parents chose protection, stability and love.
