Alone in a crowd

I love how i thought i was going to update this on a regular basis right after we moved, lol. Not so much.

We're self-isolating. It's me, Eric, and our roommate Brendan. The only humans we've seen in weeks are Proxy, Demi, Bee, and Noah. Might see Sorrel soon too. We're trying to keep our circle as closed as possible without going completely off our rockers but honestly if it were just the three of us here I think we'd probably kill each other before too long.

I had my top surgery back in September. I barely remember what having breasts felt like. This feels so much like ME i can't even handle it some days. Euphoria is a wonderful thing. I went from DDs to a masculine chest and I was hoping to spend this whole summer just basking in being able to run around without a shirt on and now it's looking like we might have to isolate through the summer and aaaaaaaa I do not want to :(

Trying to think what else has happened lately but all it's been is a lot of "oh i thought i spoke to this person four days ago, SIKE it was actually 12,,,,,

Oh! ANE went off without a hitch, which is wild. we snuck in under the wire before COVID hit which is pretty amazing.

Miiiiight try a little harder to post on here coming up. Thoughts and feelings and some worldbuilding I'm trying to do while in lockdown, idk.

lj i barely recognize you anymore

I'm leaving that subject title up because it's from four years ago and I just logged in to find a draft from back then! what a lovely time capsule!

Anyway, hello LJ! It's been a while, but haemoglobin (did i remember how to do a tag properly? let's see how many times i have to edit this, since even after all these years I refuse to use the visual editor LOL) made a post and now I'm nostalgic and I don't want to barf all over twitter about it. =)

What to say! I guess I should reintroduce myself to the world. Hello! I am S. Connors, otherwise known as Ina or Remy (and Sarah to only my closest/oldest friends; please generally do not refer to me by that anymore!) and I am a transmasculine nonbinary 33-year old living in the Boston area! Some things truly never change.

Since I moved home from St. Louis (yeah, did that for a bit and it was great!) I've gotten way back into the furry fandom, to the extent that I actually serve on my local 2300+ attendee convention's Board of Directors, and I'm the Head of Events as well. I love organizing and I've gotten back into so many creative projects, art included - it's great.

I'm still into race cars, I'm still into hockey - I got to go to St. Louis for game 6 of Bruins-Blues this year (which, holy shit, I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THAT SERIES HAPPENED YOU GUYS. the nhl's siren song played for me and I gave in entirely.) and we just got back from Pocono, which I've now been to five times. Following race cars has lead me to being a huge Alexander Rossi stan, a title which I hold proudly - his PR lady and I are text buddies, and his whole squad always comes over to give me hugs and such, ha. :D

OH BIG NEWS: i've been in a relationship that has lasted 660 days to this point 0_0 my big lovely idiot manfriend is named Eric and I met him through furry stuff! He's a guitarist from PA who moved up here a few years ago, he was dating a friend of mine and when that friend broke things off with him, he and I started hooking up on occasion, with greater and greater frequency until FEELINGS HAPPENED and we started dating, ahahaha. we're moving in together in two weeks and I cannot wait.

I may start using this thing again to get my brain-barf out instead of posting it all over social media! We'll see. This feels pretty good for now. <3
