Amazing drawing tablet, very portable with my laptop in my bag had some issues at the start with the calibration of the pen, though it became more responsive after calibrating it in the included software. Love how it can be used with one USB-C cable on my mac one of the main reasons for me choosing this over the older model, making it easier to use and giving it a plug-in and use ability, making it easier to use portably. Found the lack of any dials and sliders accompanying the shortcut keys disapointing though it was not much of a problem when paired with a shortcut keypad.

I love this screen and i have the 13 pro, the only thing i now wish is i got the bigger tablet for only a few pounds more, but obviously i can zoom in and out so not the end of the world. you can also use it as a second screen. The size of the pad has a border so the screen is not borderless edges like on an ipad. Its very responsive and feels great weight on the pen and isnt too smooth or too scratchy as a surface. I took a long time doing anyalsis on all the drawing pads as it is not a cheap purchase, and this has great reviews from professional illustrators & the price is very good for what you get. Obviously its not a stand alone device so it will need to be plugged into the computer so you can walk around with it and it is not touch screen. The little stand is great, a bit of a pain to open at first. The main issue i had was setting it up on my iMac and its a bit fiddly. Basically use the cable with the smallest end and forget all the other cables including any power cables its not needed. Follow the installation as normal & bluetooth link the pen. Then got into your settings, turn on mirrioring and optimise your display for Kamvas. It should all work. If your having any problems like the screen flashing on and off or a blue screen sying not connected its a settings issue on your Mac or any lagging then its to do with the mac settings. Choosing the optimising for Kamvas rather than the Mac as the screens are different dimensions and having it preference the Mac could make the pen dot appear out of sync with the pad, its a settings issue not a software issue. They dont have very good instructions for these niggling issues. Got there in the end and very happy. You will need third party software drawing software and there are loads for free or paid if you do a tiny bit of research on yourtube such as illustrator, Inkscape etc as it doesn't come with any. The supplier was very proactive and reached out to me when i wrote bad review offering refund or tech support. Should i have had contiued problems i think they would have been responsive but i did resolve the set up issues on my own and really did want the product. It gives me alot of faith in the supplier and hence i wanted to mention there customer support. In short i would fully recommend this product.

Pen very responsive working with large brush hardly lags has nice feel on the screen, I'm connected to a MacBook Pro M1 16GB RAM
the 2.5k screen is nice because its a such a high resolution the icons are small you can adjust this in display settings.
I purchased the USB C to USB C cable I have less wires also the tablet is powered by my MacBook Pro

Pen has started to lag badly, I added a clipping mask and the lag was terrible in Photoshop

No lag in ClipStudio and Corel Painter

This review is for the HUION Kamvas Pro 13 (2.5k) Graphic Tablet Monitor 145% sRGB Color Gamut, with PW517 Pen, Anti-Glare Glass and Full Laminated Screen Drawing Tablet Display for Painting, Online Working

£379.00 at the time of review.

The box it comes in is absolutely gorgeous and well made. It has blown plastic inserts that hold the stand and the tablet in place with cut-outs for the accessories. There are two very limited instruction booklets and a pen nib remover tool and two sets of replacement nibs inside the pen holder.

The tablet screams quality and the screen is very large and looks extremely professional. You get all the cabling you need to connect it to your computer and the main cable is a very ingenious design that carries the HDMI cable, power cable (USB) and the USB lead for attaching to your device. You also get an extension lead for the USB power lead. So far so good.

First off, I would have preferred this tablet to be wireless, as even though the cabling works well and gives a solid connection, it limits where you can move the tablet to. You certainly can’t walk about it as you draw on it.

You need to download a driver package to get it to work. It is under 36Mb and it installs in a few seconds, even on a 10 year old laptop.

It took me ages to find the power button to switch it on, which is at the top edge of the panel and just above the double USB port setup. The other thing that you may or not be sure about is that it mirrors the image on your device. So what is on your device is what appears on the tablet. I have a desktop PC with a dedicated graphics card with twin video out ports on it and an HDMI port as supplied by the motherboard (which is inactive due to the dedicated graphics). Their advice on how to get it work with this setup is incorrect and didn’t work for me no matter what I tried. What I did do was to disconnect my second graphics cable and attach the one from the tablet to my PC instead and that worked.

The pen has levels of sensitivity and you can set different options for the two buttons on it. One thing I did notice with the pen was that if moving the pen left to right, the ink was a few millimetres ahead of the nib. If moving right to left, the ink trailed by a few millimetres. I also found the pen had to be held almost vertically which blocked its view on the tablet.

This tablet is superb and if you are a graphic artist or even an aspiring one, you could do worse than buying this tablet. My only reservation is that you are tied by the cabling, but that may not be an issue for your setup. I would also like to add that my desktop PC ran it easily, but my 10 year old laptop struggled with it and showed considerable lag no matter which program I was running on it.

It carries a hefty price tag and has a few niggles for me but I think it is worth 4 stars. You can decide if it not being wireless is an issue for you or not.

This is my first experience with drawing graphics tablet and I really like it ,the connection and the feeling are so smooth when drawing is like almost real , when u draw on the paper. 📃 the resolution details are amazing , u can use different tips which is even great .the anti glare screen is perfect 👌 for when u drawing , great and bold colours also very good viewing from different angles .can be used with a range of devices like Windows and Androids , basic buttons on a side really great idea 💡, installation was simple and works straightforward.

Previo insuperable, tamaño muy cómodo para la escultura 3d, es facil tener un teclado detras para poder utilizarlo y las teclas que incluye son suficientes para las funciones básicas.
La resolución es ideal, mucho mejor que la de 16 pulgadas con 1920x1080, y en cuanto a la 16 2.5k, creo que no es necesario, este tamaño de pantalla es muy comodo para trabajar e impartir clase.

Très bonne tablette-écran. Niveau affichage, très bonne résolution pour faire dans la précision, et la taille de l'écran est juste assez grande pour l'espace de travail sur mon bureau. Je l'utilise depuis 2 semaines et pour l'instant je n'éprouve pas de fatigue visuelle. Le poids de l'écran est assez léger mais pas trop, il tient bien en place.

Le stylet est précis, bonne prise en main sauf pour la première touche que l'on presse accidentellement avant de s'habituer à son placement assez bas. La mine feutrée est idéale pour travailler sur la surface laminée du Kamvas, sans s'inquiéter de laisser des traces. Le stylet est recouvert de caoutchouc/gel grippant mais qui attrape la poussière. A voir avec le temps s'il tourne en glue...

Le support en métal est très bon. Les gens qui se plaignent qu'il est difficile à ouvrir ont mal lu les instructions inscrites dessus. Il est simple à déplier et replier quand on ne travaille pas. Je craignais de devoir en acheter un si je prenais un Huion, mais finalement celui-ci est inclus et il est convenable et solide.

Gros bémol pour cette tablette: la longueur des câbles. Ils sont adaptés à un ordinateur portable, mais si vous avec un desktop avec une tour imposante (taille normale) c'est assez contraignant. J'aurais souhaité poser le Huion plus loin de mon moniteur principal, et la coudure du câble 3-en-1 force la position verticale, ce qui gène la vue. Mon PC n'a pas de port usb-c compatible affichage, donc je n'ai pas le choix de connectivité. Il faudrait que j'achète des extensions de 2 usb + 1 HDMI ce qui est un peu poussif. Bref, dommage que cela ne soit pas plus modulable.

Soucis spécifique pour les utilisateurs de clavier non-QWERTY: les pilotes ne permettent pas de changer les fonctions de touches si vous restez en AZERTY. Il faut switcher en clavier US/UK autrement vous perdrez les zoom, rotation, tailles de pointes, etc.
