Regarding sprites size, RPG Maker requires them to be scaled :
- package_content:
- arrow/ <= arrow sprite (scale x1)
- dummy/ <= dummy sprites (scale x1)
- hero/ <= hero sprites (scale x1)
- rpgmaker/
- MV/ <= RPGMaker MV sprites (scale x3)
- MZ/ <= RPGMaker MZ sprites (scale x3)
- VXace/ <= RPGMaker VXace sprites (scale x2)
If you are using Godot, GameMaker or Unity, you better use the scale x1 folders.
Regarding RPG Maker Action RPG system :
- Beware, making RPG Maker Action RPG is not beginner friendly and require plugin and possibly image editing, but you can start here : RPG Maker Action Combat - RPG Maker MZ Plugin by Sang Hendrix (just an example of how it can work, I'm not affiliated with Sang Hendrix)
Good luck !
Hey mate, which version of RPG Maker do you use ?
Here's a small tutorial if it helps : How to Import Your Own Tiles // RPG Maker MZ In 100 Seconds
Hey !
I don't have new characters in the work at the moment. However I think this collection is not too far from mine : World of Solaria Complete Bundle by Jamie Brownhill - itch.io
Oki, just send me a mail at xxxxx with your unity store receipt ☺️.
For the record : lecagy tilepalette was the only palette in the v1 of the unity asset pack.
The current tilepalette came around the v2 and is, in my opinion, better organized (as you said), but some assets didn't make there (obscolete tiles).
You can use both, it's why the legacy is still available 😊👍
