What a wonderful news that Kakà & his lovely wife Carol shared with us on their Twitter accounts this afternoon; Carol is 4 months pregnant with a little girl Friends, fans & family, we are all really happy with this news and we wish them twice more happiness! Parabens!

And as good news never comes alone, Mano Menezes (Brazil coach) said he counts on Kakà in 2011. Futhermore, Mourinho is waiting for Kakà’s return to strengthen the team: “Kaka can be the best signing of the winter, because there is no player of his quality on the market. Kaka is our solution.”

Kaká goes to Belgium for surgery

I can't find an article in English, so I am just summarizing (not translating) what is on the Real Madrid website.

Basically, as we know, Kaká had joined the Real Madrid team in Los Angeles a couple days ago for training. However, while undergoing medical examinations, the doctors found that he has an injury in the meniscus of his left knee. As a result, Kaká has gone to Belgium to see a specialist. He might undergo surgery there as well.

So no, he will not be playing in either Real Madrid friendly in the United States.

I hope he gets better soon :( This is really sad/unfortunate/depressing...

Mourinho Concerned About Kaka's Fitness

As reported by AS, new Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is concerned about Brazilian midfielder Kaka's physical condition. In the wake of the attacking midfielder's problems with injury last season and revelations that the player still felt pain during the World Cup and was only able to play at 85 per cent fitness, the Special One has reportedly paid close attention to the Brazilian's training regimen as Los Blancos continue their pre-season preparations in Los Angeles.

As such, Mourinho has met with the footballer along with his training and medical staff to discuss a physical therapy plan to return the player to his best. The plan is designed to help the player strengthen the area in question (groin and abdominal muscles) and Kaka will be subject to a lighter workload in normal training in an effort to do work on recovering from his persistent sports hernia injury. The Madrid medical staff have agreed with the Brazilian Football Federation, who examined Kaka during the World Cup, that surgery is not necessary.

Kaka arrived in the United States to join Madrid on Saturday and has taken a limited part in training sessions so far, doing specific physical therapy work outside of training to strengthen his abdominal muscles and put his injury woes behind him.

I know all of us have been mourning over Brazil's loss to Netherlands the other day, but that wouldn't bring Brazil a victory. We should not dwell on the past and move on. Brazil needs our support :) They will pay back in 2014.

I personally edited these pictures above for Kaka. He's always a faithful man, a game they lost would not certainly change his faith. He will be a superstar to us, no matter what.

Teary Kaka admits Brazil have been knocked off top-spot

Port Elizabeth, South Africa - Brazil midfielder Kaka admitted Brazil had lost their position at the top of world football after their defeat to the Netherlands in Port Elizabeth on Friday.

"Those teams that reach the semi-finals are the four best sides," said the Real Madrid star.

Of Friday's defeat, he said: "It was not because of a lack of quality. We lost because of details - we let in two goals from set-pieces and that allowed them back into the game."

Kaka was one of many players fighting back the tears after Brazil let down their supporters inside the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium and back home.

Gilberto Silva, who plays his club football for Panathinaikos in Greece, admitted the side had lost their way in the second half.

He said: "Twice we lost concentration and both times they scored. These things happen even to an experienced team like ours. But it is very hard to accept. It is not easy to be knocked out like this."

Felipe Melo has already been blamed by the Brazilian press for the quarter-finals exit and Gilberto Silva revealed that no-one had consoled the Juventus midfielder.

"The atmosphere was not good in the dressing room," he said. "The players were very down. We have not spoken to Felipe Melo, we were all just too sad."

Brazilian captain Lucio said Brazil were stunned as well as saddened.

The Inter Milan defender said: "We are in shock. We controlled the first half, look very strong and then we conceded such a bad goal. Shortly after that we got the red card and then it was very difficult to come back.
