Meisha is ALWAYS near her Orion

She likes to be in his face....often when he is sleeping she sleeps on his chest and licks his face

"Yeah thats the stuff!"

It has always been this way....even way back in the beginning
when she and her brother first came to us
they were enamored with each other
Orion turned in to a cheeseball when it came to Meisha

She would zoom zoom all over the place when she was just a bitty but when she was in Orion's arms she would turn to mush

The watched TV together

When he was sick she stayed with him

silly thing she is

The night before she gave birth she stayed with Orion
He would carry here around cause he said she was tired and was going to have her babies tomorrow so she need her strength

& just as Meisha always takes care of Orion...he too stayed vigil right at her side as she had each one of her kittens

So whether it is helping with Home work

or just being a sleeping buddy

Meisha & Orion are always there for each other :)

Meet Annie Oakley

After we lost Lola & Chico in the space of 3 months, we thought we'd tak time off from being cat owners. Our hearts were broken & needed time to heal.

However Mr B didn't understand where his BFF Lola had gone and was just lonely for a kitty friend. Everywhere we went where there was a cat, he was all over it. So when his second birthday came around, we decided to stop being selfish, get over our grief and give a home to a kitty that needed one. There are hundreds of cats in our area who need a loving home and we had one sitting empty of cat. What better way to honor the memory of our dearly departed Lola & Chico than to continue to proovide a place in our home and our hearts for shelter cats.

Here are Mr B's birthday presents. Note the one with whiskers and a tail!

We went to a wonderful local cage-free shelter to let a kitty pick Cash out. He was up for the job!

Next thing we knew, it was love and she was inspecting our house

And Mr B's room, of course

He's a very welcoming host
