you can give matthew lillard literally any batshit line and he will deliver it perfectly
Matthew Lillard’s specialty is playing a guy who is a little fucked up because he’s a repressed twink
the only thing to be gained by watching this is the knowledge that everyone who attends harvard is absolutely 100% undeniably a murderer
Ridiculous slice of late 90’s absurdity, 99% of the characters were giant atrocious scumbags (with the exception of one who I won’t name because spoiler), and there a re-enactment of The Deer Hunter Russian roulette scene but with beer cans at a party... and it wouldn’t be 1998 without neverending twist endings galore.
I kinda enjoyed watching this trash because I’m a sucker for 1996-1999 movies where the cast is on the poster.

Not long ago I feasted on a mini-marathon of 1997-1999 post-Scream horror/youth movement films including I Know What You Did Last Summer, Disturbing Behavior, The Faculty and Urban Legend. I missed The Curve though, one that isn’t talked about as often. I’m here to talk about it.
The Curve plays out an academic urban legend called “pass by catastrophe”. It claims that college students will receive straight A’s for a semester if their dorm roommate commits suicide. In this movie’s world it happens to be school policy so two Harvard hopefuls force that situation to happen.
