Esperanto is a constructed language made by L. L. Zamenhof. It is the most widely spoken constructed language in the world, with over a thousand native speakers, and up to 2 million people having it as their secondary language. It's early form is called Proto-Esperanto.
Esperanto is largely based off of Latin, with some influences of Russian, Polish, English, and German.
Finding It[]
Most European countries is where you will find the language the most, as most European countries speak Esperanto. Some examples can be Poland, Czechia, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, and more. United States and China are also both common countries to find it in. A few African countries is where you can find it in. You can find it in Benin, Mayotte, Réunion. Caribbean countries is where you can find it also such as Martinique, Guadeloupe. Bonaire is also another place you can find it in. There is a alot of places that speak Esperanto.
