Hi, my name is Alex Ortega welcome to my link tree. I am 14 years old, and I run a mile every day except Thursday and Friday. I am also in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Known as AFJROTC, which is a program that helps students build character, leadership, and responsibility while learning about the Air Force. I chose construction as my pathway because my dad worked in construction when I was younger, and he sometimes took me to job sites. I really liked watching how houses were built and seeing the progress from start to finish. I want to keep learning more about construction and maybe build my own projects one day. I believe this path is a good fit for me, and I’m excited to grow my skills and turn this interest into a future career.

Mile Run

In ten years, I see myself working on a construction site helping build houses or large buildings. Most of my work takes place outside, and I work closely with a team using different tools and machines. During the day, I solve problems like making sure materials are measured correctly and structures are built safely. There are challenges like working in tough weather or meeting deadlines. Success for me means doing my job correctly, staying safe, and finishing projects on time. I also want to earn a steady income and possibly move into a higher position like a supervisor. At the end of each day, I feel proud knowing I helped create something useful.
