ABOUT D.W. BLUE
I’m D.W. Blue, a storyteller born from silence and fire. I write about the kind of love that isn’t always spoken aloud, the kind that lives in the quiet corners of African hearts. Through *The Quiet Heart Series*, I tell stories of queer boys and men who carry their tenderness in secret, who fight to love, to live, and to be seen in a world that often turns away.
My stories are woven from the rhythm of African soil, the scent of rain on dust, the hum of evening drums, the ache of belonging. I believe queer African stories are not only necessary; they are sacred. They remind us that love, in all its forms, has always lived here, even when history refused to write it down.
With each page, I honor the courage it takes to whisper truth into a world that demands silence.
As the old African saying goes: Until the lion learns to write, every story will glorify the hunter. These are the lions’ stories, and it’s time they are heard.
