Dr. Jantzen, Jazmine and the entire staff at Due West Animal Hospital are wonderful! Aside from the exceptional care my pets have received, I have never felt rushed. I have always felt heard even when my pups refuse to demonstrate in the office the very thing they were doing at home that made me call urgently for an appointment. My questions are always answered. The office is warm, welcoming and never intimidating for my pups. Highly recommend!

Dr Jantzen and the staff are wonderful. My dog, Snookie, is 12 and she had to have surgery this fall. They were extra attentive to her needs and my concerns. She has fully recovered and is living her best life.

Love the vet here! The groomers are super sweet too. They can usually get my pet in quickly when needed, and the front desk staff is usually pretty nice. Highly recommend!

I brought my golden retriever in yesterday for nausea. I thought he had possibly gotten into something in our backyard because our other dog had done that a couple of days prior and had an upset stomach. My golden also has a history of eating things he shouldn’t, so I took him in to rule out the possibility. I am so so so thankful for Dr. Jantzen. She was suspicious that he had another obstruction after viewing his x-rays. He had obstruction surgery a year ago. She was cautious and going to give him fluids, monitor him for an hour and recheck x-rays before recommending another surgery. He quickly took a turn for the worse after I left him for monitoring and we decided surgery it was. It turns out a part of his small intestines had adhered to his abdominal wall from his surgery last year - they had filled with gas and twisted. Since he was able to get operated on so quickly, he will end up being fine. I am just so thankful for Dr. Jantzen’s vigilance and expertise. I don’t know that my dog would still be here today without her!!! So grateful. Thank you also to all of the staff who assisted with him yesterday and made sure he was taken care of. Everyone was just fantastic.
