Take Assessment: For Counselors & Teachers
Hello Counselors, Teachers, and Wraparound Specialists! We are excited that you are interested in having Melanin Minds Matter at your school. As a reminder, we provide a nine-week mental health program that focuses on mental health education, self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-esteem. Please use the following checklist as a guide to determine how to effectively select students who will benefit from our services — however, this is not an all-inclusive list. All students could benefit from our services to provide general mental health education. Although there are certain students who may show a higher need. Ultimately, any student who identifies as a girl of color is welcome to our program. The following checklist includes, but not limited to, student observations to look for.
