Alejandro Pineda is a Spanish architect and urban planner. His research focuses on the subjective components of place, particularly on shrinking Japanese suburbs, analyzing the role of residents' place attachment to ameliorating the decay issues. Alejandro is a Ph.D. architect and Technical Assistant at Studiolab at Keio University. Previously, he worked on several urban regeneration projects in various Japanese prefectures as a member of Boundless.
