Celebrating 6 years with Queer Poetry
Celebrating 6 years with Queer Poetry
QueerAbad turns 6 on June 26! This time we want to ring in this birthday harking back to our first ever event, a session of Queer poetry reading. Poetry has allowed many of us a space to breathe, find refuge in, companionship and a way to rebel and resist. We would like all you queer poets out there to join us and read your poetry, or poems that you found some queer parts of yourself in, on an Instagram live on the evening of 26th June, from 5 to 6 pm. Each person will individually join us in the live video and will be given a maximum of 5 to 7 minutes to read their chosen poems. Please be mindful that this is a celebration of the Queer community, and only Queer people are allowed to sign up for the reading. Join us in welcoming another year of community, care and solidarity. Sign up by filling up the form below!
