Hi, my name is Bente, your online physio. As an ultrarunner and climber who has overcome many injuries herself, I know how challenging it is not to be able to do what you love because of injury or overtraining. Movement is freedom, and I'm here to help you gain back that freedom, or expand it. 

I grew up in the Netherlands and trained to become a licensed physiotherapist for 4 years. I've gained experience in hospitals and practices and am focused on rehabilitating persons with orthopaedic (bone, tendon, muscle, ligament) injuries after accidents, surgeries or overuse. After studying I moved to Switzerland to be able to combine my passion for mountain sports with my work. There, I deepened my knowledge on treating mountain sports related injuries and improving athlete performance. 

If you want the support of an online physiotherapist to coach you through your injury, overtraining syndrome, or just towards better performance in ultrarunning, climbing, or skiing, I'm here for you! 

About me 

Do you need help treating a musculoskeletal injury or overtraining syndrome? 
Or do you need performance coaching to get your sport to a higher level? I'm here for you. The only thing you need is your laptop or phone and access to a gym. 

How does online physiotherapy work? Aren't physios supposed to touch you? 
Sometimes yes! And of course, not everything can be solved online. But most sport related injuries can, and so can performance related questions. Sometimes, the flexibility of online physiotherapy gets you on your feet faster than traditional physiotherapy. 

If you think online physiotherapy fits you, plan your intake! After diagnosis we will decide together if online physiotherapy is the best way to recovery for you, and if I have any doubts I will refer you to in-person physiotherapy. If not, we can start!
