However, the research priorities for those with lived experience of menopause and their health-care providers is not known.1 A James Lind Alliance Priority Setting Partnership is a powerful process to establish shared priorities for future research.2 This established method has already identified key priority questions across more than 100 health conditions since 2004. It is a lack of information that leaves people unsupported during the menopause. Menopause isn’t just below the neck, it’s above and beyond. We collectively need to dismantle the existing menopause stigma and taboos that are unhelpful and let ‘all’ women know that it’s ok to talk about it and provide education. We want other black people and people of colour to know that it happens to us too. It made us realise that the black community doesn't talk about it as much as we should and we need to.We provide free educational events every other month, as well as a monthly menopausal chat back group, which is a group to share and talk about our experinces no medical advice is provided in the chat back group. Our educational events where applicable will provide medical advice.Emailinfo@blackwomeninmenopuase.co.uk
