In the early morning hours of February 25, 2006, Toby Beaugh and his wife Melissa were walking down Magazine Street in New Orleans when a driver in a black pickup truck intentionally ran him over, killing him. A witness described the truck as possibly a Toyota Tacoma with tinted windows. But the driver was never identified, and Toby’s family is still waiting for justice.
