Annual Farm Kick Off @ Saint James Community Farm — Saturday, June 6th
Our Annual Farm Kick Off celebrates the start of the growing season and is a great way to get involved for the first time or reconnect with the Just Roots community. The event will include: The first Farm Stand of the season Seedlings and saplings for giveaway Farm fresh tastings paired with a cooking demo Art and horticulture projects More family-friendly activities When: Saturday, June 6th, 10am - 1pm Where: Saint James Community Farm (2936 S Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60616) The event is free and open to the public. If you plan to bring home produce or seedlings (we hope you will!), please bring your own reusable bags to the event. If you are not feeling well or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or food borne illnesses, please refrain from attending.
