Kentucky Public School Strong is made up of parents, students, educators and community members who are committed to honest, equitable and fully funded public schools. We organize by school district, we support each other in turning out to local school board meetings to observe, make our Public School Strong movement visible, and speak up to promote, protect and strengthen our public education system. Anyone in Kentucky who is committed to those principles can join Kentucky Public School Strong. We will gather over Zoom for these meetings. Are you fighting a hyperscale data center proposal in your local community? Are you wondering how to know if there's a hyperscale data center planned for your local community? Is there a hyperscale data center under construction in your neighborhood & you want to fight back? Do you want to stop the wave of hyperscale data center proposals popping up across Kentucky? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should definitely join us for our first monthly Organizing Meeting on Kentucky Data Centers. In this orientation session, we will hear from folks on the frontlines in data center fights, bring everyone up to speed on some basic data center terminology, and grow our collective organizing muscle in our collective fight(s) against hyperscale data centers in Kentucky.
