On April 2, 2026, nail artist Gabriela Macedo and an AI image generator will receive the same prompts from a live audience and attempt the same designs. A dashboard projected on stage tracks the energy, water, CO₂, and cost of every AI generation in real time. Learn more about the calculations here. RSVP at CultureHub's Events Page here.Your donation does two things: it offsets the resource cost of running the AI, and it supports the Museum of Nails Foundation's ongoing work documenting nail art as art history, labor history, and community history. All donations go into the MON development fund — whether or not the artist chooses to respond to any given prompt. That's the point. Proceeds raised during the live event will be split between the Museum of Nails Foundation and the nail artist, Gabie Macedo. Tech Tips is a CultureHub LA residency production.
