A while back a friend asked me to look and find him a LiveStrong bracelet - he's lost his. Time passes, I forget and can't find. I finally find the page for the official Lance Armstrong Foundation Livestrong yellow bracelets. The minimum I can order is 10.
Also, apparently there isn't an official bracelet for breast cancer research. The one I have is from a 2004 campaign Target ran, and there are lots of others out there when other groups did the same. I've found two sited selling ones I like that I know will donate the money. One says "Living in Pink" and the other "Support Knowledge Strength." Again, there are larger amounts to order (min 5 for one, 25 for the other).
My question: If i were to order batches of these two bracelets, would any of you be interested in them? I can afford to swallow the cost for the yellow ones, but I may need folks to 'donate' for the pink (if I got 25). OR, if I asked for a donation of $2 for each, I could send the money on to the research foundations. I will ask my friend if his friends would want them, too. I can almost guarantee he knows 10 people who'll support testicular cancer research.
So, if you would be interested in one or both of these, let me know. If it looks like I can spread the love, then I'll order some. Let me know, too, if you'd be willing to pay for them.
