It’s mid-April and the monthly Security Updates and bug-fixes have been released! A recap of the month so far.
This month, there were no security fixes for Classic Outlook for Windows but there were 12 for other Office application.
There weren’t a lot of documented fixes across any of the release Channels this time. Maybe the most disruptive change is that the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel (SAEC) will merge into the Monthly Enterprise Channel in July 2026.
The most notable new issue is that Auto-Translate stopped working. The issue which prevents you from creating new Microsoft 365 Groups is still around. However, the issue where the “My Templates” add-in was missing from Outlook has been fixed again but may require action from your tenant-admin as well.
This guide provides a quick overview of all the latest fixes, new features, persistent bugs, security vulnerabilities and other changes across all Classic Outlook for Windows versions.
