a couple of quesitons
Dear all, A'salaamu Alaykum
I have a couple of questions and I was hoping that someone here might be able to help. The first question is regarding CAIR: Has anyone done an internship for CAIR? If so, would you recommend it? I am hoping, Inshallah, to go to law school --right now I'm thinking human rights/ civil rights...something along that lines. If you wouldn't recommend CAIR, do you know of another good place for someone who is Muslim and wants to help other muslims from a legal angle?
The second question is more personal. Someone who is very dear to me is suffering from an eating disorder. A friend told me that we should take her to a Sheikh to get help but so far she has only seen a Dr. and a Nutritionist. My question is: does anyone (who may have dealt with this or knows someone else who dealt with this) have any advice? She, Alhamdulillah, is aware that the eating disorder is killing her and she wants to stop. But I would like to do something more to help her.
