Very very true! Come to think of it when it comes to the whole AAA market, I wonder if they're able to cram all of that into a Blu-ray disc. I know they have been coming out with larger versions of them, so maybe that could be a possibility. Then again they probably don't want to Shell out the few extra pennies that costs to press them. Get mad with me man, get mad with me again! 😤
I definitely do agree that it's a brain issue, it's just a shame that mine refuses to cooperate. 🤣 Have you ever seen some of those rubber plastic buttons that people stick on their mobile screens to simulate a controller? I've never tried them personally, but I suppose that would be the next best thing. Even though it would feel a bit awkward, maybe even sexual. 😅
Yeah they were the company that really knew how to save a book when it came to animation. Speaking of hanna-barbera, have you ever heard of a show called Pirates of Dark Water? It was made by that company and it went way over budget. It's a really good series though for the time, the sad part about it is that it went so over budget it was never completed. 😭
Oh my gosh you were so right, the board game that you too much! Not only is that an epic subtitle, but it also shows that this board game is alive and kicking. Could this be the power of AI? Mine is officially blown! 🤣
I hear you on that! Game of the Year edition still technically exists, but now they are all digital bundle sadly. Which I'm personally not into. At the very least I guess it's a good way to save you money if you want to go down that route. 😭
Thanks now I feel better! Truth be told I have actually seen people play retro video games that they emulate on their phone with touch controls, honestly I don't know how they do it though. I need to feel those buttons in order for it to function properly in my brain. I'm afraid that I'm going to break my screen with my thumbs by pressing it too hard. Hahaha!
I've always found it fascinating. Maybe because I've always enjoyed admiring others artistic talents. I could just imagine all the labor and went into hand drawing and painting those cells just for a single second of animation, sometimes even less than that. Now I understand why Hanna-Barbera would do shortcuts on The Flintstones and just have the same background repeating over and over again. 🤣🤣🤣
You're Very Welcome, hope you had a good one~!^v^
And that's a cute GIF, haha, is it from Uma Musume? :>
It really does bring back memories am I right? I think one of the best things about the game of the year editions was that not only did it include the full game so you know you were getting pretty much everything that was included for it, but it was also at a discount compared to the vanilla version when it first launched. You almost felt like you were committing robbery at the game store whenever you would go up and purchase one, only this was 100% legal! 🤣 That is true! I guess for what it's worth we will still get digital bundles of the stuff, but for me it just isn't the same. 😭 I want to hold that limited edition bloody chainsaw from Resident Evil 4, even though I never used it because it was too bulky to handle.
Cool! Awesome buddy, I'll definitely make sure to keep those in mind for the future. It's one of the reasons why I just never got into Mobile gaming like I could have, those touch controls just made it so cumbersome depending on the game. It's one of the reasons why I just went the whole Bluetooth controller route, even though some people tell me that is cheating. I guess I'm just not a hardcore Android fan...enough. 😭
It was a really cool process with cel animation right? Especially from what I hear before the early 1990s, when back then at the very least they could color cels digitally, whereas before it all was hand painted. Just picture holding one of those bad boys up, especially if it's at a iconic scene. I've seen some doctor soon How the Grinch stole Christmas sells go for 3 to 4 figures depending on the situation. It's nuts! 😱 By the way here's a pretty cool video on the subject if you're interested. Really opened my eyes to how some of this has become lost to time, especially when the company's destroy them.
Couldn't agree more man. I really do hope that a lot of these higher up corporate suits will realize this, since a lot of these game developers are basically just paid slaves to do what corporate tells them to do. Heck a lot of these higher-ups I doubt or even gamers, they are just there to make financial decisions and profit from it. Basically just there for a paycheck to try and recoup as much income as possible. Were you ever a fan of game of the year editions? Yeah remember when those were thing? XD
Speaking of which, what would you say are some of the best games where touch controls work? As in specific titles. 🤔
It's crazy right? It really does make you wonder what became of all these forms of Lost media. Heck these companies could be profiting off those cels greatly nowadays as they're seen as collectors items, and it literally took thousands upon thousands of cels just to make one episode of something. Money on the table if you ask me.
