While global attention has shifted away from the aftermath of 7 October and the war in Gaza, its consequences continue to shape daily life for Israelis and Palestinians. At the same time, protections for minorities and democracy in Israel are under sustained attack. 

Against this backdrop, New Israel Fund (NIF) continues to strengthen and lead civil society in Israel, working to promote a better future for Israelis and Palestinians.

In the coming year, we will continue protecting freedom of expression and protest to ensure fair elections. We will also safeguard equal representation, encourage voting participation for all communities, confront political violence and amplify the voices of moderation.
