【はじめに】

Instagram @kokesouka では「干支と植物」というテーマで、干支の動物と縁のある植物を取り入れ、暮らしの中で運気を整える提案をしています。

今回は 「己酉（つちのと とり）」 をテーマにしたコンセプトアートをご紹介します。
モチーフとなった植物は アガベ “リトルペンギン”。
青白い葉と黒いトゲは、まるでペンギンの姿を思わせるユニークな造形。
その凛とした姿は「酉（とり）」が象徴する秩序や美しさと調和し、さらに「己（土）」の安定感と融合することで、特別な開運アートとして表現されました。

【制作秘話】

己酉は「陰の土（己）」と「陰の金（酉）」の組み合わせで、五行では 土生金（大地が金属を生む） の吉象を持ちます。
つまり「努力が実り、成果や洗練へとつながる」干支です。

制作にあたり特に意識したのは：
• アガベの整然としたロゼット形 → 酉（金）の秩序と美の象徴
• 葉色の青白さと黒いトゲ → 金属光沢とペンギンの嘴をイメージ
• 鉢の模様 → 大地を示す渦巻き模様（土）と羽根の装飾（金）を刻み、土と金の調和を表現

背景は「土色のベージュ〜黄金」から「銀青色」へのグラデーション。
これは 土から金が生まれる循環 を可視化し、背後の鶏のシルエットとともに「安定・成果・美しさ」の象意を込めています。

苦労した点は、植物本来の“氷のような清涼感”を損なわずに、秋の収穫や黄金色の温かさをバランスよく融合させること。
冷たすぎず、温かすぎず、ちょうど良い調和点を探る工程に時間をかけました。
