To prepare for the Japan Abacus Federation’s official exam (the boss of the abacus world), I’m using the popular Asahi Print materials for the explanation.
Nowadays, AI can create abacus problems, but giving instructions and printing them can be a bit of a hassle.
So, if you want to practice with actual problem sheets at home, buying Asahi Print materials is the quickest way!
Of course, if you just want a quick review of abacus techniques, watching this YouTube video and practicing along is perfectly fine too.

そろばん8級 練習問題2 -Abacus Level 8 Practice Problem 2-
全30問、制限時間は20分です。
There are 30 problems total, with a 20-minute time limit.
答え -Answers-
かけ算・わり算は1問5点の50点満点。見取り算は1問10点の100点満点。
200点満点中、120点以上でそろばん8級合格です！
Multiplication and division: 5 points each, total 50 points.
Mitorizan: 10 points each, total 100 points.
Out of 200 points, scoring 120 or more means you pass Abacus Level 8!
