答えの末尾が0になる2桁×1桁のやり方 -How to Multiply 2-Digit by 1-Digit Numbers When the Answer Ends with Zero-

例題で「80×3」の問題をやってみましょう。

Let’s try an example problem: 80 × 3.

3桁目を指おさえしてください！

Please press down the third digit with your finger!

たしたら先ほど指をおさえていた隣に指おさえするんでしたが、次が3×0＝0と答えが0になるのが明らかなので、この場合は指おさえを省いてしまってOKです。

After adding, you would normally press the digit next to the one you were holding, but since 3 × 0 = 0 clearly results in zero, you can skip pressing the finger down in this case.

答えは24じゃありません！

黒い点（定位点）が一の位になるので、答えの末尾の0抜けに気をつけましょう！

The answer isn’t 24!
The black dot (place value marker) represents the ones place, so be careful not to drop the trailing zero in the answer!
