"Rumble, wake up! Ghost's goons are targeting the kids in District 86!"
「ランブル、起きてくれ！ 今８６区でゴーストの手下どもが、子供たちを狙っている！」

Doc burst into the room, pale with panic.
ドックが血相を変えて部屋に飛び込んできた。

"Vandal and Raiz are still locked in their hypnotic pods. You’ve got to handle this. Just don't overextend—there's no telling if those guys from before will show up."
「ヴァンダルとライズはまだ催眠カプセルの中だ。お前が現場に向かってくれ。ただ決して、深追いはするなよ。いつ、この前の奴らが出てくるかわからない」

Rumble sprang to his feet, grabbing his Ignis Breaker.
ランブルは飛び起きると、イグニスブレイカーを手に取り、

"Doc! I'm not the same guy I was back then! Not with this beauty in my hands!"
「ドック！ 前の俺とは、ちょっと違うよ！ 俺にはコイツがあるから！」

A fierce, confident smirk broke across Rumble's face.
ランブルは不敵な笑みを浮かべた。

"I'll have Vandal and the other catch up as soon as they can. Don't push your luck! Pixie just headed out a moment ago. Make sure you establish comms with her!"
「ヴァンダルたちも追わせる、無理はするなよ！ ピクシーは、さっき出て行ったばかりだ。必ずコンタクトしろよ！」

Doc watched Rumble rush off, silently praying for his safety.
ドックは、祈るようにランブルを見送った。

"Pixie! What's your status over there? Are you at the scene yet?"
「ピクシー！ そっちの状況はどうだ。もう着いているのか？」

"...Well, look who finally decided to show up! I'm almost at the location!" 「……あっらー、遅かったじゃない！ もうすぐ現場に着くところよ！」

"...Got it. I'm on my way, fast!"
「……おう、わかった。急いでいくよ！」

District 86. It was the sole supply retrieval zone for the citizens—a line fiercely defended by PANDORIA's remaining security forces.
８６区。そこは「パンドリア」の僅かな防衛隊が死守する、市民にとって唯一の物資調達エリアでもある。

"Rumble! I've pegged the enemy force! We've got over fifty cybernetic hyenas! You know how they hunt, right? They operate as a pack!"
「ランブル！ 敵の戦力は把握できた！ サイボーグ化したハイエナが５０数頭いるわよ！ あいつらの習性はわかってる？ 群れで行動するのよ！」

"...Yeah, I know! Don't sweat it. Leave 'em to me!"
「……おう、わかってるさ！ 心配すんな。俺に任せておけ！」

With that, Rumble charged straight into the fray.
そう言いながらランブルは突進して行った。

"You small-time trash! What do you think you're doing here...? This isn't your playground!"
「ザコどもめ！ 何しにきてんだ、……ここはお前らの来るところじゃねーぞ！」

Roaring with rage, Rumble lunged forward, only to be slowly encircled by a dozen hyenas.
怒号とともに踏み込んだランブルを、十数頭のハイエナがジリジリと囲む。

That was when it happened. Creaking and groaning under immense pressure, his muscles swelled as if pushing against reinforced alloy, transforming him into a colossal juggernaut.
そのときだった。ミシッ、ミシッと強化合金を押し上げるように筋肉が膨張し、彼は巨大な戦士へと変貌を遂げた。

The moment a low, guttural roar escaped his throat—"...Grr... AAAAAH!"—the "HA / 波 (Wave)" sigil stamped on his chest ignited with a piercing crimson glow.
「……グッ、オォォッ！」と短く咆哮した瞬間、胸の『波』の刻印が突き抜けるような鮮紅の光を放った。

Thump-thump!
ドクンッ！

A massive pulse jolted through him like a shockwave, streaming straight into the Ignis Breaker along veins of light that bulged across his arms.
大きく跳ねた脈動が衝撃波となり、腕の血管のように浮き出た光のラインを通じて、イグニスブレイカーへと注ぎ込まれた。

In the next instant, syncing with the "HA / 波 (Wave)" sigil carved onto the axe, a blinding crimson arc sliced through the air. Unable to withstand the sheer pressure, the surrounding pack of hyenas was blown away in a single violent blast.
次の瞬間、斧に刻まれた『波』と同期するように、鮮紅の眩（まばゆ）い光が円を描いて空（くう）を切った。その途端、周囲を取り囲んでいたハイエナたちは、その圧力に耐えきれず一気に吹き飛ばされた。

The shockwave unleashed by Rumble's Ignis Breaker reverberated as a thunderous boom miles away, striking terror into the remaining beasts.
ランブルが放ったイグニスブレイカーの衝撃は数キロ先まで大きな轟音となりハイエナたちを脅かしていた。

Pixie pulled a tech-deck from her pocket, smirking to herself. (Guess it's time for the trump card...)
ピクシーもポケットからデックを取り出し、（……奥の手を使うか～）

"I hijacked their comm network and shredded their coordination with raw noise. Now they're nothing more than an aimless mob."
「アイツたちの通信網をジャックしてノイズで連携をズタズタにしてやったわ。もうただの『烏合の衆』ね」

Just then, lurking in the shadow of a street corner, an eerie figure shifted silently, eyes glued to the scene.
この時、街角の片隅に存在を隠すように、この光景を食い入るように見つめる一人の不気味な影が動いた。

"Rumble! It’s not over yet. Sounds like people are trapped under the rubble. Get over there and help them!"
「ランブル！ まだ終わってないわよ。瓦礫の下に埋もれている人たちがいるみたいよ。助けに行って！」

Wondering if she was just imagining things, Pixie kept her eyes peeled on her skateboard as she sped off to check another sector.
ピクシーは気のせいかと、スケートボードで周囲を警戒しながら、他の場所へと急いだ。

Reaching the collapsed site, Rumble found a crowd of dozens gathered, struggling with the rescue operations.
瓦礫の現場に行くと数十人の人だかりができていた。救助に手こずっている。

As soon as Rumble arrived, he began clearing debris piece by heavy piece, forging a path deeper into the wreckage. A few people followed close behind, shouting out to check every nook and cranny for survivors.
ランブルは現場に着くなり、瓦礫を次から次へと排除し、中へ中へと進んで行った。その後を数人が大声で呼びかけ、生存者がいないか隅々まで確認している。

Then, tucked away in the corner of a stairwell, he spotted a emaciated white creature, injured and curled into a ball.
すると、階段の片隅で怪我をして、うずくまっている、痩せ細った白い動物が目に入った。

"...Hey, you alright? Hang in there!"
「……おい、大丈夫か？ しっかりしろ！」

Rumble scooped it up gently and checked for a heartbeat.
ランブルは優しく抱き上げ、その動物の鼓動を確認した。

"Oh, it's alive! Get some first aid on this little guy!... Be gentle with it."
「おっ、大丈夫だ！ この子に応急処置をしてくれ！……優しくな」

With those words, he turned and headed back into the depths of the rubble. そう言うと、また瓦礫の奥へと向かった。

"Pixie, do you copy? We're all clear here! Zero casualties."
「ピクシー、聞こえるか？ ここはもう大丈夫だ！ 死傷者はいなかったよ」

"Nice work, Rumble. Those creeps were so blown away by your power, they scattered to the four winds!"
「ランブル、ご苦労さま。アイツらはあんたのパワーに度肝を抜かれて、散り散りバラバラよ！」

"...Good to hear. Don't worry about me, head back and report first."
「……そうか、良かった。俺のことはいいから、先に帰って報告してくれ」

Rumble hurried over to the emergency triage post.
ランブルは急いで救急現場に向かった。

"...Hey buddy, lucky you. Just a few scrapes."
「……お前、良かったな。かすり傷で」

He stroked the white creature's back, cradling it softly. The creature let out a tiny whimpering whine, surrendering entirely to his touch.
その白い動物の背中を撫でながら優しく抱きかかえた。その動物は言われるままに、身をまかせクンクンと鳴いている。

Back at the lab, the team was waiting anxiously for Rumble's return.
研究所に戻ると、みんな待ち焦がれたようにランブルを出迎えていた。

Vandal rushed up immediately and threw his arms around him.
ヴァンダルがすぐに駆け寄って抱きついた。

"...I heard you carried the whole team while we were stuck. That's freaking incredible, man."
「……お前、オレたちの分まで頑張ったんだって。凄いじゃないか」

Happy to hear the praise, Rumble lost all his rough edge, rubbing his neck with a bashful grin.
ランブルも嬉しかったのか、あの荒々しさは消え、照れ臭そうに笑うだけだった。

"...Rumble, where did you find this little guy? ...What an unusual animal. Super cute, though."
「……ランブル、この子はどうしたんだ？ ……珍しい動物だな。それにしても可愛いよな」

Suddenly, Pixie slid over, leaning in close.
いきなり、ピクシーが擦り寄ってきた。

"...Aww, look at that face! Let me hold it!"
「……何て、可愛いの。抱かせてよ！」

"No way! Back off! It's hurt, don't go touching it carelessly!"
「ダメだ！ ダメだ！ こいつ怪我しているんだぞ、むやみに触るな！」

"Hmph! Fine, stingy!"
「フン！ なんだ、ケチ！」

Pixie pouted, blowing a bubble with her gum until it popped loudly.
ピクシーはふてくされながら、ガムを膨らませパチンと鳴らした。

"...Hey! You scared him! He needs rest."
「……おい！ びっくりしてるじゃないか。寝かせてやらないと」

Muttering, Rumble hurried off toward his private quarters.
そう言いながら、ランブルはそそくさと自分の部屋へ向かった。

"He looks pretty happy, doesn't he? Just seeing him in a good mood makes my day."
「なんだか、嬉しそうだな。あいつが喜んでいる姿を見ているだけで、オレも嬉しくなるよ！」

Vandal smiled softly as he watched Rumble's retreating back.
ヴァンダルはランブルの後ろ姿を見送りながら微笑んだ。

Raiz, who was sitting on the couch, suddenly broke the silence.
ソファに腰掛けていたライズがいきなり切り出した。

"Pixie, how did 'PANDORA' move today?"
「ピクシー 、今日の『パンドラ』の動きはどうだった？」

"Honestly? Total trash mobs today! Looks like Rumble's Ignis Breaker scared 'em straight. But... the pattern was different from usual. That's the part bothering me..."
「今日はね、ザコばっかりだったよ！ ランブルのイグニスブレイカーの威力が効いたみたいよ！ ただ、今までとパターンが違うんだよね。そこが少し気になるけど……」

"...Different how?"
「……今までとどう違うんだ！」

"If they were seriously going after the kids, they should've deployed Beasts or Busters... Then again, since Raiz beat that one to a pulp until it shut down the other day, maybe it's still locked in the maintenance bay..."
「本気で子供たちを狙っているんだったら、ビーストやバスターを投入するはずなんだけど……。でもこの前、ライズが機能を停止するまで痛めつけたから、まだメンテナンスドッグに入っている可能性もあるし……」

Raiz sank back into the couch, lost in his own thoughts.
ライズは、ゆっくりソファに座り、
