#30　agree withとagree toの違い

どちらも「～に同意する」だが、ニュアンスが異なる
agree with 人・物　：相手の提案などに快く賛成するニュアンス、同じ意見を持っている状態
・I agree with you.「私も同意見だ」
・I agree with his opinion on the matter.「私はその問題に関して彼の意見に賛成だ」

agree to 物　≒ accept　：相手の提案などに渋々賛成するニュアンスや単に「正式に受け入れた」という中立的意味のことも多い
提案を受け入れて同じ意見になる(動作)⇒「合意した以上は当然実行する」という意味を含む
・I agreed to your request.「私はあなたの要求に同意した」
・I agreed to the contract.「私は契約に同意した」
△ I agreed with the contract.　withは状態を表すので、不自然

※disagreeはwithのみ使用可能
・I disagree with that judgment.「私はその判決には不服だ」
・I disagree with his opinion.「私は彼の意見に反論する」
・I disagree with you there.「その点では君と意見が相違する」
