The Little Mermaid

These days, I don't go to see the movies as I used to do. However, I had a chance to see one at the movie theater this year. It was "The Little Mermaid". 

This movie was a live-action film and I was so satisfied to see it. It was amazing how it showed the scenes in underwater. Most of the techniques should be from computer graphics. 

And of course, the music is wonderful. The songs were already familiar for me from the animation version. Especially the "Part of your world" is my favorite. Actress, Halle Bailey's performance was so amazing. I remember I got goosebumps while watching it. 

After watching the movie, I went straight to the gift shop and bought the soundtrack CD. I selected the version including both Japanese and English versions. It's interesting to listen to the same songs in different languages. They give me different impressions of the song, though it should be the same meaning.

I sometimes listen to the songs in my car and sing along. Disney movies and songs are always enjoyable.
